This position must have the perceptiveness, interpersonal and organizational skills required to deal effectively with a wide range of people, including owners, tenants, property managers, and outside contacts all while providing quality customer service.

Position Overview
The Accounting Manager reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for all aspects of accounting, AP and AR for commercial and residential properties. This position supervises Property Accountants in daily AP, AR and GL functions. Accounting Manager works closely with Assistant Controller and Regional Operations Managers to produce monthly financial statements and resolve property accounting issues. This position develops positive working relationships with client accounting contacts and key vendors. Accounting Manager works closely with the Assistant Controller to transition new accounts and assists in the hiring, training and evaluation of accounting staff. The Accounting Manager is the main point of contact for all residential property accounting matters and is back up for the Assistant Controller in her absence.

The Property Manager is accountable for all property operations. The purpose of the Property Manager is to effectively manage and coordinate persons, activities and available resources in order to accomplish property objectives as set forth by the Regional Manager and the Property Owner. These objectives will include maximizing occupancy levels and property values.
